I bought this (I think) the day it went up, without even looking at any advertising past the banner ad, because I knew it wouldn’t disappoint… and it certainly did NOT disappoint! The stuff you all do is just top-tier amazing. Kudos to everyone involved, you all hit this one out of the park!
i mean what else can be said that hasnt already been said? Lucia just keeps doing it. this is one of the best SHIP vids ever. right up there with Breakdown, Pretty Bird 1, Rye’s Eternal Prison…… and a big reason? not even exaggerating, i think this is the best acting i have EVER seen in a SHIP video. both of them brought it (including Spicy in part 1) but that chair tying scene really brought it all together.
hell my only complaint is that we didnt get to see Ultra Lady also get collar’d and doll’d by the end but the ending was still great and honestly could lead to a great third vid. (theres an opportunity to double down on the themes of the first two parts and have a really dark ‘bad end’ that i’d love)

i think if your going to do a third film… your going to have to do something different.
How about setting the 3rd film 150 years in the future. They have been frozen for that long. Dealing with the knowledge that everyone they knew is dead… Family. Friends all gone.
Thats something emotionally different to explore.
i always felt the perfect way to end this story is with a Win ending… They kill there captures but the ending is bleak… Maybe the Earth is baron… but they have each other.
I thought this scene was very interesting but I will say I did enjoy part 1 a bit more. The brainless doll aspect I think was handled well. Me personally tho I remember when I first watched breakdown even those characters referenced how a brainless doll superhero would still sell but it’d be more fun if the heroine still was partly their and was aware.

I watched them maybe 18 months ago, took another year or so for them to finally do more SHIP content together, but worth the wait
Just want to talk about a few other moments as well
– The tied together scene was beautifully acted. Dakota’s heartbreak of Ionic not being able to remember there relationship and with Spicy’s acting you can see alittle bit of the real Ionic still behind the eyes but just out of reach. truly wonderful scene
– Was the wave from Spicy scripted? cos it felt improv and i laughed at that moment
– Got to say Round of applause to Spicy and Dakota for keep so still at the start and end of the film (with those frozen scenes… Got to have been so difficult to do (especially with the heat and Dakota’s laughing)
– It was a hot movie in more ways that one haha 🙂 I like the way you incorporated that in the script. Kudos to you all for dealing with that.
– Loved the score and sound tracking in this. really adds to those tender moments having that sound beats there too
– Set design as always is brilliant, God! I bet the actors are always so impressed with what you do with the set everytime they come. Creating a whole new world every week. Loved the flowers all around the place.
Lucia put out another ambitious, creative production. There are some nice comedic moments (more in the first part than in the second) and some hot ones. The actors all do a fine job. Lucy is great as always. And kudos to Spicy for keeping up the “manic sex doll” act for such a long time. Personally, I found it annoying rather than sexy after a few minutes, but that is not her fault. As mike has already pointed out, the ending is pretty cool.
There is one notable mistake in the second part, when Lucy pretends to slap Alicia and the missing sound effect makes it inevitable to notice that her hand is actually moving above Alicia’s face.
And I have one question: If the villains need Ionic to power their compund – where is the power coming from the entire time she is out of the booth? Maybe there was an explanation and I missed it, but that didn’t seem to add up.
I liked the outtakes. It’s always nice to see that the people are having fun making these movies.

I am wildly annoyed to hear that that slap sound is missing, haha. I literally re-rendered the entire third segment to fix that and I don’t know how it still didn’t take. Oh well. I blame Premiere. I always blame Premiere. That program is The Devil.
As for the lore/continuity question, there actually was an answer to that in the script that got cut for time. The chamber works as a battery, so like, even when you cut the power to a battery it still runs for a time until it re-empties. It’s always frustrating to lose content to time, but you never know what is truly feasibly until you are on set and the clock is ticking. We filmed this entire thing in like seven hours. It was breakneck as was.
That is also why Spicy didn’t get to do as much beyond the doll thing. There were a few scenes that had to be trimmed down, including ones where they woke up more and had more direct involvement. C’est la vie. Actual film gets like a week for what we have to do in a few takes, haha. I eternally wish we had more budget/time to film. That’s why the 2+ day shoots are inevitably everyone’s favorites. They just have room to get what needs done, done, with more breathing room for retakes. Our shooting schedule does the talent a great disservice in that way at times, because it doesn’t let them shine as brightly as they could. One-three attempts at most and we have to move on.

So first this film shot in 1 day? WOW! The stuff you get done in 1 day. Remarkable
Yup! Most of our films are shot in about 7-8 hours tops. ♥ Multiple days means exponential costs, but the result is *always* better when we have them.
This is absolutely amazing to learn. That you all can do all this in a single day… y’all are troopers, just bad ass troopers!
and just 2 offer a different opinion, i loved that Spicy was a manic sex doll for the whole thing. that was kinda the point to me! the first part was her downfall and the second part was showing her after being broken while then bringing in another hero to break…… (and i dont necesarrily think a potential part 3 needs to bring in a third. could be a story showing where these two are at at a few months later and maybe go even darker places)

Spicy wasn’t a manic sex doll for most of this film, that is what i loved about it.
For most of the film she was kinda in a middle ground. Due to Spicy’s acting and the choices she made throughout the film. The real Ionic was still present behind the eyes, still there just out of reach… you always got that sense for the first 45 mins of this film.
Yes during the big sex orgy she has had gone.
That what made Dakota’s choice so heart-breaking, she chose to stay, chose to do be this sex slave cos she loved Ionic even though it wasn’t her Ionic she fell in love with.
And the ending, choosing to be in the machine, choosing to be frozen but with her love, but Ionic coming back to us, see the horror of what was happening to Ultra, but its was Ultra trying to calm her, saying it alright…
Thats why this film was never a corruption story, never a broken down story… Its a true love story

I’d be interested to see if SHL had a hand in this production at all, cos it felt in the second half, Lucia learned alot of his films with the hardcore element and filming style. I think SHL would be proud.

This film was a Beautiful love story that showed some different levels that we doesn’t get to see in SHIP
AND THE ENDING! IS THIS THE BEST ENDING TO ANY SHIP FILM!!!!!!
The Ending that was sweet and lovely, but also heartbreaking and devastating, kind of a death ending but also a ending of hope. Truly the most conplex but perfect ending for the characters and the relationship that was explored in the film.
I did not and I don’t believe Lucia has ever seen any of my hardcore work. So all credit should go to Lucia

Dakota showed me a very long, amazing clip from one of your films a while back where you sort of stepped away and let the talent just… do their thing. And it was/is just an AMAZING long, organic shot. I actively chose to *and* referenced you on set when I basically told everyone for the final sex scene that I was going to set it up and then back off. All of the actions, dialogue, pacing, and flow of the final scene is the talent leaning into their roles and desires and just making the magic happen.
So credit actually goes to both you and the talent. Very little should go to me in that regard. ^_~ I give it where it is due.

Yeah you can see you learned alot… I felt like “The Handoff” wasn’t the best due to all the cuts and lack of flow. Felt like you learned from that experience and leaning on Dakota and SHL’s work truly paid off.
The one take stuff is the way to go, you do that brilliantly with the action, your the best with the action scenes due to the longer takes and camerawork you do… to translate that to sex was perfect in this.
Glad to hear you took some inspiration from my film with Dakota, sometimes talent know the characters better than I do and find what they do with the moment surprising in a good way

Thrilled that you enjoyed it. Your posts are always something to look forward to. Spicy did have a lot of fun in this one. I told them to just… “Cling on and fawn over anyone who gets anywhere near you.” and they went for it. There are some truly funny, organic moments from that that I am grateful to have caught.
And thanks for the comment on the love story. You do not get many of those but I have a soft spot for them.
When Spicy wakes up and starts desperately begging at the end, even on set my heart wrenched. Love it. They did so well.

Hope it was enjoyed! I’d *love*… we’d all love, to make a third. But this one was already prohibitively expensive to produce, haha. The only reason I did was because it simply -needed to be done-. If we add a third character (how many people can we fit in the chamber???) I’d be financially undone. And while we don’t technically *need* to add three characters at once… it… kinda feels right. Given the themes so far.
So if someone was willing to commission/fund a third, even if enough to reasonably offset it, I’d do it in a heartbeat. We all would. ♥
