‘The Broken Vale’ By Dark City Fiction

Raven Vale, a fearless archaeologist, embarks on a dangerous quest to recover the legendary Guardian of Ganesh. However, she isn’t the only one searching. Natasha Crowley, a cunning and ruthless operative for the notorious Shadow Order, is also hunting the artifact. Natasha and Raven share a tangled history—former lovers turned bitter rivals. Their connection is as charged as their animosity, with lingering tension simmering beneath every encounter.

When the two finally clash, along with Natasha’s henchman Kane, Raven is quickly defeated and finds herself bound and gagged. Natasha not only steals the artifact from Raven, but proceeds to torture her over and over demanding she give up the location of the rest of the artifacts.

Through endless episodes of torture, Raven’s body and spirit are pushed to their limits. Despite the relentless rope, electric, verbal and impact torture, Raven refuses to give up. The stakes are too high, and the woman she once loved is now the greatest threat to everything she stands for.

I might not quite have cared for the ending, but, it certainly didn’t ruin the video for me. This was AWESOME, Vanessa was an PERFECT defiant but fearful captive, looked INCREDIBLE in her predicaments. 10/10 for me, this ticks all my boxes, interrogation, t0rture, arms overhead, stretching, electro, defiant captives. I’m good with, even LOVE the outfit…it goes along with the Lara Croft style thing. Best purchase I’ve made in a while, sorry that others didn’t quite feel the same.

i think enough has been said about the ending and while i do agree that it was a bad ending, thats obviously out of DCF’s control. i guess my critique is also out of anyone’s control other than the person paying for the video lol, but ill say it anyway:

i kinda hate these overthetop slutty outfits. like with the massive amount of underboob showing right at the start. im sure some people are into that but for me it kinda takes me out of it immediately cause it just looks silly and kills the fantasy of it really being the character (whether its lara croft, supergirl, whatever). its hard to take the character seriously. like i think itd work better if she started off in a more traditional lara croft shirt and then it gets ripped or something at some point.

or if its a mind control/corruption/whatever vid, this could be the outfit she wears in the last third of the vid to showcase her transforamtion. (i know thats not this video’s theme, just giving an example)

another example would be the TBFE vid Corrupted System. that superhero outfit is just so ridiculous that i cant even take he character seriously as a heroine lol

I feel the same way about costumes like that of White Shadow. But others obviously like them, and every now and then they get what they want. That’s fair, I guess.

      • yep. again i take custom orders. i have other movies coming out with other costumes that are less revealing. i’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it, but thank you for watching. i think it’s pretty easy to simply stay away from the films that feature outfits you don’t like. meaning there really isn’t even a reason to comment on it

Yeah, but it’s heroine porn. They are supposed to be dignified proud beings that we love to see corrupted.
If they look slutty, it is supposed to be in spite of themselves of course 🙂
Of course, no such limitions for female villains….

Okay so after purchasing this movie, I’ve now seen Vanessa play a superheroine for three different studios, and based on what I’ve seen, she is consistently terrific. She clearly is an ace at selling sexual peril in the SHIP genre. Also I’m glad to see that Dcf is willing to go outside the box with what he considers to be a superheroine, in that the Lara Croft character originated in a video game not a comic book, but that didn’t stop Dcf from taking on this custom with its Lara Croft-like protagonist, showing that Dcf is open-minded to characters outside of only ones that originated in Marvel, DC, Image, Mirage, etc. print. Dcf: superb job all around directing this film. Dcf and Bccccck: based on what the two of you have said, sounds like the story and the dialogue were a collaborative effort between the two of you, so let me just say that the two of you did a great job with both of those elements. As for Pepper, prior to this release, the only SHIP movie I’d seen her in was a cameo in Vanessa’s Zatanna film for another studio, so it was cool to finally see Pepper in a meaty supporting role in a SHIP film, and Pepper did not disappoint. Best villain performance I’ve seen since Kayla and that’s really saying something! Some actresses who play villains in this type of movie focus their performance so much on the sexiness that they fail to come across as truly threatening, but not Pepper, her villain in this movie comes across as both very dangerous and very sexy right up until the end, excellent stuff! Yes as you can probably tell, I really really really enjoyed this movie, so thank you Dcf and Bccccck!

These grindhouse movie poster style pictures are great–I’m not exactly sure what you call the still photo that accompanies a new video announcement, hence I sat in pause mode for about a minute trying to think of the name–, and this one is the best yet. Vanessa has a look and an expression right out of a 1970s exploitation film. It made me want to run out to my favorite video store–which unfortunately no longer exists, by the way–where they had the walls covered with these kinds of posters. It makes me want to run out to an underground theater to buy a ticket to watch your movie.

It’s nice but I’m tired seeing always the same dark location. I understand it’s maybe difficult for hardcore scenes but could you at least shoot fighting scenes in another location. Outdoor scenes would be nice. I don’t like when all the video is in the same location. I had some expectations but I can’t see difference with Rye or TBFE. I think it’s time in 2025 to revolutionize the SHIP genre. I hope I was able to provide constructive criticism that will benefit everyone.

    2
    • i’m tired of seeing the same complaints. there’s reasons we shoot indoors at the studio we pay lots of money for. you’re welcome to commission a film and pay for me to shoot in another location. i’m guessing you wouldn’t like the price

and no that wasn’t constructive criticism. it was a redundant complaint. in other words, bitching

      14
      • jigoku says:

Sorry about that. It’s just I find more useful to talk about things to improve rather than good points. Of course, I could write a message about all the good points in your videos but it would be very long and I’m sure you already know about it. And I didn’t know it was a repetitive complain. I don’t read forum very much. I’m relieved I’m not the only one to point that. But if you can’t do anything about it, it can’t be helped. Don’t take it personally because it’s a global critisism.
Anyway, I think the superheroine genre needs a deep change or will die slowly. In my opinion, it has been stagnating for too long. And I don’t think it’s a matter of money. Much low budget movies are better than high budget movies. The same for lot of Tv Show. And lot of people think vintage cheap costumes are more sexy than modern expensive costume. It’s the same logical.
Here is some ideas that won’t impact the budget :
        – Characters with richer background
        – Season format with episodes and story. Endings with cliffhanger.
        – Alternate endings
        – One actress for one heroine.
I hope I was more constructive and helpful this time.

        2
        • you should put those ideas to work and commission a custom. that’s one way of making the change you believe the genre needs so badly. you will also see that it is indeed a matter of money

I have some criticisms I think you and everyone should hear. I know you are a new producer but I think it’s your responsibility to save the whole SHIP genre, which is in danger of dying if you don’t meet my requirements. I have a list of ideas that could save your business and make my dick hard:

            1. Make a whole season of TV
            2. Only cast one actress as the lead, no diversity
            3. Film 5 endings per tv episode, so we can make sure my needs are met
            4. I need at least 2 hours of character development before the viagra kicks in
            5. Take a loan out of a bank, to make sure you have enough money to loan it to me in case I can’t afford the whole season of TV
            6. Film on the moon, Elon can probably assist, have you tried emailing him?
            7. Have you considered hiring Hollywood actors? Scar Jo probably would be a bestseller, I promise
            8. Make the films brighter, but its not a lightning issue
            9. Make sure I find the actresses attractive

You see, I am helpful, I know this will inspire a revolution
Now please go complete said revolution, otherwise I typed all this for nothing
You should be grateful I spent the time writing the instruction manual to the revolution

I don’t demand anything. I just give my personal feedback. When I’m talking about alternate endings, I think about TBFE “Super Exes” video. I like when videos has an happy ending and a bad ending. And when I’m talking about season format, I think about something like first season of TBFE. Once again, it’s just my own feedback and I don’t request anything from you. I purchased your first Supergirl video some months ago and loved it. Just I would have like an alternate ending where she wins or escapes. Like in Super Exes. If you’re not agree with my feedback, I respect your opinion.

        • when you say things like “ I had some expectations but I can’t see difference with Rye or TBFE” you look like an asshole. that’s not feedback or constructive criticism. you might simply be incapable of seeing the difference.

If it ever comes to that, I’m willing to fund this 2-minute custom video.

But for 120 seconds of glory, I’m gonna need at least one kick to his balls.

And to keep things balanced, they’re both incredibly inspiring. Pepper is smoking hot (pun absolutely intended) and nails the villain vibe to perfection! Meanwhile, Vanessa is simply sublime! Easily my favorite breakout talent of the year!

I had a bit of criticism regarding her combat scene, and from what I saw in the trailer, it looks like that has been addressed. That said, I have to point out once again that the tank top she wears is not ideal. It is just my personal taste, nothing too serious, but I feel like this is the second time Vanessa’s performance has been somewhat undermined by her costume choice.

I would have loved to see a different top, maybe something a bit closer to Lara’s iconic costume, but I imagine resources aren’t infinite, and you have to make do with what you have.

Judging from the comments and despite the ending (which isn’t DCF’s responsibility), that movie looks very promising and offers a refreshing change from the usual drill. As others have pointed out, it’s great to see producers trying new things, and in time, I’ll definitely support this one by purchasing it. (Not my fault if you guys release the perfect vid while I’m moving houses!)

One question, is Vanessa on twitter or has she a fan page? I’d love to see her other works.

She is really something else! Her talent is undeniable, and I genuinely hope SHG Media as a whole have plans to feature her in future films.

In my opinion, she’s a star in the making, and it’s only a matter of time before everyone else catches on to what she brings to the table.

Now, I’m also willing to admit there are a few things she can improve in her acting, but eh! For such a newcomer to be able to carry two major releases this year from TBFE and DCF, she’s doing a hell of a job. The minor criticism I have on her acting is more about me cheering for her potential than anything else. She’s got something special, and I’m excited to see her grow even more.

          • Yes you can find Vanessa online as Vanessa Valentine. She also works with PKF on occasion.
Thank you for the kind words! She is getting better and better with each film. This was only her second film and i have a few more coming up with her. I do agree with the top. We had a different one and unfortunately when she went to cut it to crop it close to her underboob she cut it a little too short and the boobs wouldn’t stay in so we had to use a different shirt as we were 20 minutes away from starting production. Lesson learned for next time, don’t crop the shirt right before filming haha

Thanks for the reply! https://x.com/bimboplex for those interested in Vanessa and https://x.com/darkcityfiction for DCF fans.

It seems like costume issues have been a recurring theme for me. First time with Vanessa’s collaboration with TBFE, there was a costume hiccup, and again with DCF, but eh! Third time’s a charm, right? 😊

That said, it does not really matter in the grand scheme of things because of the incredible talent involved and your upfront communication. I appreciate that a lot, just like I do with SHL. ( I recently purchased Multiverse Monster from him purely out of sheer support for his craft, despite me not being a fan of F/M movies. And honestly, it still knocked me on my ass…)

This is not Hollywood, and I know it is important to keep myself in check out of respect for the work that goes into these projects. I can only imagine how much effort goes into preparing for shoots, managing talent, and dealing with all the behind-the-scenes logistics. We only see the final product, but there is so much work being done that goes unseen.

I am actually curious, how much time does a video like this require from a producer’s standpoint?

Also, props to you for the background and lighting. The shots on display here are beautifully crafted. Keep up the great work, it is definitely noticed and appreciated.

this might honestly be one of the most disappointing releases in a while. SPOILERS AHEAD

i dont know what happened here. i was so excited because Dark City has been real good so far. 90% of this film is one of my favorites in a while, two great performances, especially Pepper as the villain, which is seriously one of the best acted villains ive seen in a LONG time. the minute to minute beats are so good. and then they COMPLETELY dropped the ball at the end to the point where it ruined the rest of the movie

based on the pics/trailer, it looked like this might be a cool permanent ending movie and its been a while since a good one of those. everything is going awesome until LITERALLY the very last 30 seconds. not even exaggerating. the villain raises her knife to kill Raven and then the screen goes black for a few seconds, you hear fighting, and then you see the villain dead, killed OFF SCREEN by another heroine who showed up and only see in a silhouette for about 3 seconds.

im not even kidding, this all happens in the last 30 seconds. i have no idea what they were thinking. maybe one of the worst endings ive ever seen in this genre and it completely destroys the amazing build-up. like, not even an alternate ending where Raven gves up the info and then the villain kills her anyway.

some of the comments lately have been about how these vids dont stick the landing lately and i dunno if i agreed but this vid makes a good case for it.

    2
    • thanks for the feedback. the ending was requested by the customer along with most of the major beats. i added dialogue and some other story elements.

sorry the ending was disappointing for you but i’m glad you enjoyed the majority of it! i appreciate you taking the time to write an honest review. also i agree pepper really stood out in this one and i hope to have her as a villain again in the future

I actually like how you described the ending. Not a fan of ‘final endings’ at all.. and what you described sounds very clever to me. Even you seem pleased with the film right up to literally the last 30 seconds (where it took a turn and did not appease your particular kink where there was a great opportunity to do so). Unfortunate for those who like final endings for sure. it sorta sounds like an otherwise great review though. You have piqued my curiosity. I may take a look at this one. I suspect just about ANY of the film creators would gladly do final endings if commissioned to do so. Thanks for the good review.

I commissioned this film, so it was my ending not DCF’s. And I wanted to keep it open for another one. Commission one yourself, it is fun. Mostly all of the films are commissioned by customers. It’s pretty much the only way these films get made.

thank you for commissioning this project BCCCCCK, people like you keep this genre alive.
Of course also thank you to DCF for producing this film.

I’m not sure yet if I will buy this or not as I am pretty much set on the idea of superheroines in a “classic” way (with superpowers etc.). Lara Croft was never interesting for me.

HOWEVER, I would like to point that I love it when new ideas are presented to us and this film (judging by the trailer and pictures) defentiely does that. I also read someone complaining about the same old studio, but I must say you did a phenomenal job of decorating it with these vines.

If DCF ever comes up with a discount, I will probably come back to this release.

Man this look like another good one! I like them pictures this guy makes with the movie names on it. I wish she would’ve gotten so scared and nervous from being beat that she started pissing herself while she was tied up. That guy that made the movie would have to clean it up though because it would go everywhere. Not like when Ashley pissed in that hotel room and they probably put down a piss pan for her to piss in.
