Speaking of the Australian dialogue, yes, there is a Safari Joe from the galactic Outback in the Thundercats cartoon, but there is no Safari Jane. Safari Jane is this pinhead’s idea of a drunken Mad Max character that only talks in weird Australian slang. Sober Kayla knocked this out of the park.

Being from the UK I am used to hearing an Aussie accent due to having Australian friends and being raised on a staple of Australian soaps so I am familiar with Australian slang however the accents took me out of it, it was like they were done by people who had never heard an australian before.

All incredibly fair points and spot on. I don’t think your prior remarks were criticism, more matter of fact and all very true. This really IS a cheesy fetish riff on the Thundercats cartoon, which was a Wyke Farms Cheddar of cheesy cartoons. But boy did it stir this pinhead’s loins!! An “aussie slang” syllabus came with the script so that everyone could understand what the hell they were saying. It was 50/50 if Kayla could do an Aussie accent but 100 that she could be a drunken foil. Sometimes you script and fund these madcap adventures and it goes BETTER than planned (most recently, NEBULA…Kayla was a perfect witch, Ophelia was a perfect envious Wonder Woman then again in SUPER SEX TOY, Jesse Dean was so good as the Toyman, Kayla’s transformation from a mechanical doll to a real life evil supergirl was superb). Now if i can only find my muse for a Black Scorpion adventure…..
Love Nebula it’s one of my favourites I like Hazel Honey as well and I’m surprised she isn’t used I’m more films, Super Sex Toys got me back into the genre and I enjoyed the first Thundercats movie it was just the accents in this that took me out of it (because they were the main protagonists in this rather than Safari Joe just passing the odd comment in the first).
Also admittedly I get a bit OCD about stuff and when Cocos hair changed colour I was like what’s happened her and couldn’t square it narratively.
As a ADHD OCD’er. I understand. As for the wig, accidents happen. Sometimes, the accidents are happy and you win the lottery, sometimes accidents happen and you have custard filling all over your shirt. In this case, it was a little of both. I hope no one’s hair is too on fire over the wig incident. I have no hair, so I have no worries.
How many props can be given to Allen/TBFE and Lucia? Not enough. I have been told that my scripts are “dense” and “full of props”, but I’m a mere pinhead and dense is my middle name.
