Really liked this one shows how far AI has come, also as someone who has played around with this stuff it is not easy to get a coherent story out of AI easily, this looks like hundreds (thousands?) of cuts and therefore thousands of generations and probably pretty costly. Loved the film can’t wait for part 2
Enjoyed it, it’s the best AI film of this type I’ve seen although I’ve seen some really good SHIP AI films on Deviant Art.
Think it just needs to nail the consistent nudity and sex which is sort of present here but not much.
The ending sets up for part 2
Hmm. I was about ready to give up on AI videos but decided to check this one out since it seems like a push forward. And it is. Still has a long way to go before I’m excited to pay $40 for a bunch of these. But here’s what we have on this:
1. Most importantly for me, face consistency. I’m pretty sure AI videos are still a bunch of really short snippets clipped together, but it seems like they’ve solved the puzzle of giving the character a face that persists from scene to scene so it doesn’t feel like a different person every 10 seconds. That’s kind of huge.
2. Nudity and sexual content. Ultimately, it’s not the best, but it’s more than previously possible, which was nothing. I imagine it’s only a matter of time, there. Baby steps are better than no steps.
I mean… those are the two big things this one brings. I didn’t think the overall action and fighting was quite as good in this one as some previous AI videos, but perhaps that’s due to a different model being used that granted some of the other improvements. There’s still a ton of rough edges like the bad guy lifting her over his head and her body being unnaturally stiff and floating like she’s laying on an invisible board. Also, not a lot of facial expression or range. She can pretty much scream or have a steely look. And she just kind of flips back and forth between the two from moment to moment. Similarly, still a ton of continuity issues from the splicing together of scenes.
So, a notable improvement from the first wave of AI videos we saw. Still a long way to go. But a promising leap.
If one were to stack-rank live action, animated, 3d rendered, and AI. AI is still coming in last place for me. But I could see it beating out 3d rendered soonish. (Although I still think AI assisted 3d rendered could be powerful… or AI assisted anything. I feel like “AI, make me a movie out of text” will take a while to get really good)
