My honest review of this one.
I think this one is going to be divisive.
On the positive side:
– Alicia Moon is hot.
– This is a great performance (most by Alicia. The dudes don’t have as much performance demanded of them in this but they all do a fine job at what they’re doing).
– There are some fun subtle production elements in this that we don’t get very often. The sex sound effect in particular is very effective. So often in sim sex, we see thrusting but it’s either completely silent or it’s just the mic picking up the clothes on clothes actors bumping into each other, almost making the sim nature more evident. The sound effect used in this one added a lot to the feeling of actual sex happening where that was not the case. I personally wish this was a standard in ALL movies in this genre that do sim sex, but this is the first movie I can think of that does it really well. There are also a couple shots that fake show penetration (I imagine similar to how they faked stabbings in old samurai movies). That one isn’t as impactful as the sound effect, but was a nice touch.
– Despite how this movie doesn’t really DO that much from a plot standpoint, there are multiple key moments from beginning to end (almost think of them as different clips of the same type of peril) that are all effective.
– We know about Lee’s situation, so if this seems a little overpriced for what it is, it’s still a nice opportunity to support him and get something from it.
The negative:
– The biggest issue for many is going to be plot progression. A lot of people didn’t think the first one did enough, in terms of pushing a plot forward. This is more of that. In fact, this one is almost more egregious in that regard. This feels like more footage that was just shot in the same session that could have just been combined with the previous movie in a tighter edit. There’s a part of me that feels like you could add this onto the first movie, edit it a lot tighter, and end up with a combined version of both parts that didn’t feel like less was happening that was still shorter than just the first part. That said, the performance is still solid, so there’s something to be said for seeing what I imagine is a less edited version of it.
– The ending of this one is rough (I don’t normally like to talk endings, but this is a notable issue with this one). The entire movie is kind of one thing happening, which is SuperiorGirl getting fucked while chained up. They finally switch things up and get her on her knees to give a blow job, which she leans forward to do, then the movie ends. Seems like a part 3 is coming. I think some people are going to think breaking this footage up into 2 parts is already a stretch. 3 seems super questionable. Though I say that without seeing what comes next. But based on my first negative bullet point, I have some concerns there.
At the end of the day, I land more on the positive side of things. I did enjoy watching the performance. Even though I think the value proposition for what this is vs. what it costs is a little low (especially if you combine both the content and cost of the two movies together), I’m happy to support the creator. And I liked some elements of the production (one of which I think should be standard from this point on, in all movies with sim sex). So it’s a thumbs up from me. But I can see it being tough for some folks.
