“Final Exam” by Dark City Fiction

In an elite Academy for superheroes, ambitious trainee Lily suits up as Silver Fox for her grueling final exam: a one-on-one deathmatch against the merciless villainess Jinx, where victory alone grants her the mantle of true defender. Entering the arena under the watchful eyes of the Academy’s director and her mentor Crimson, Silver Fox tests her innate powers and martial prowess against Jinx’s vicious whip cracks and predatory taunts, in a clash that blurs the line between test and torture.
As Jinx’s brutal cunning dismantles Lily’s defenses punch by punishing punch, the fight devolves into a raw spectacle of psychological torment and physical violation, stripping away the heroine’s illusions of heroism. Defeated and claimed as a slave by her conqueror, Silver Fox’s shattered spirit endures as Jinx’s broken trophy, exposing the savage cost of failure in a world where mercy is a myth.

Gotta say I love the hair and face/look of the heroine here! Not the usual American cheerleader with kmplanta we get a lot in the genre but more into true alt territory. Would love to see her in more movies and other costumes!
good job to the mods for deleting that garbage loser comment
Immediately in my top 3 ever!
Thank you all for the great comments and feedback! I’m happy this was well received!
It took quite a while for this one to be produced. It must have been about 14 months ago that I reached out to DCF with the script. But it was defenitely woth waiting for, and I’m glad that others here seem to be equally impressed by the result of this long process.
With regards to the experience of having a custom done by DCF, I can echo what others have stated before me: It was very good. Anthony replied quickly to messages and was transparent about the production process and its problems all the way. E.g. he suggested alternatives for every item of the Silver Fox costume, so that I was able to put together the version I liked best (and considering that I had never seen the whole ensemble before I got the completed movie, it looks pretty good, I think). He also accepted without complaining that I rejected most of the changes he suggested for the script and even removed a shot from the final edit which I didn’t like. And the quality of the production (camera, sound, music…) speaks for itself. So if you’re considering ordering a custom from DCF, I can say that you’ll be in good hands there.
That the movie turned out this good is of course also due to the performances of the cast. As usual, I had other actresses in mind when I wrote the script. I thought Stella Pharris would make a good Silver Fox, but that was before I learned that she had gotten herself a large new tattoo. And I had imagined a somewhat older actress for Jinx to get an even sharper contrast with the innocent young heroine. But that did not work out either.
Fortunately – and I might again say: as usual – after some weighing of options (including new talents who would have been a wager) we ended up with a cast which turned out to be perfect. I was immediately thrilled when I realised that Hera was available again, because her performance as Alara in my first big custom “The Collector” by TBFE is, in my opinion, one of the best portrayals of a villainess in this genre. So we knew she could have been great as Jinx, but I thought it would be interesting to see her play the good girl this time. And boy, is she good at this, too!
Casting her as the heroine also had the advantage that the role of Jinx was free for Harper, who had left the most lasting impression on me of the four talents in “The Ballad of Songbird and Thugs”, so I was happy to have her play the main villain this time and really show what she is able to do with such a role. And that is a lot. While Hera perfectly captures the spirit and growing despair of Lily, Harper nailed Jinx’s raw malice and her lust for humiliating and violating her opponent.
Both actresses truly brought the characters I had written to life, and I don’t think we could have gotten a better cast. (A shout-out to Melody and Allen as well, whose short appearences add to the atmosphere of the scenario!)
So, I am thankful for all the hard work that went into the production of this movie, and I think the people in front of and behind the camera deserve all the praise they are getting here.
The Collector from TBFE is my absolutely favourite heroine stuff of all time, this one got straight on the best ever podium too. Thanks both to you and to all the people and cast behind Final Exam!
Hera is stunning both as a heroine and a villain and Harper always delivers!
Looking forward for more
Again, insanely impressive
Thought it was yours D_Hoffryn 🙂
I really hope we get to see Hera as a heroine more in 2026
I don’t know if your on DCF/textual’s discord. But The Collector 2 with Bella & Hera reprising their roles has already been shot! Hope its keeps your spirit D_Hoffryn from your origina;.
But there is talk over there of making a sequel to Final Exam as well…
Hi mike, could you send me a discord link/invitation to DCF/textual?
Email DCF, best bet
Any word on when we can expect the collector 2 to come out? Also how would they continue that storyline given how dominantly the first film ended in favour of hera?
I would say likely between March & May next year… Looking at the schedule DCF mentioned on Discord… But again don’t quote on that.
The Script for The Collector 2 is available on the Discord Group.
Please do sign up! This group is the driving force of SHIP, Contact DCF is your best bet… Other producers are starting to come onboard… which is incredible
Well, well, well, it kind of didn’t cross my mind at the time but now that you speak your name into existence I can truly see that this was a vid of yours. Had your blueprints all over it.
The cinematography and editing in this one might be the best one yet from all the ones you’ve made. The script and story is really strong too. The acting too was very captivating! My only nitpick would perhaps be that I felt the actual sexual domination aspect of it was “less than what it usually is,” but from a movie/story perspective it was probably just right. Cheers! ~
Glad you liked it. All credit for cinematography and editing goes to DCF of course. I think I know what you mean by “less than what it usually is”, and I tend to agree.
@D_Hoffryn, you have become a staple in this genre, I am a huge fan of your writing style and it is amazing how one can tell immedaitely that the writer is a guy who knows what he is doing.
I loved every single film you commissioned, without exception.
Collector Alara is for me the best SHIP-Film of all time, which is why I wanted my own custom with Bella as WW and Hera as Alara for years and thanks to DCF, it is finally going to happen!
I hope you don’t mind that I continued your story, but be assured, if anything, it is a tribute to your creative talent. I hope we were able to do it justice in the sequel.
May I ask if you planned to do a sequel to “Final Exam”? Was Melodys cameo planned or a Last-minute decision?
Thanks! I’m curious to see that sequel for sure. And I’ll try not to be too critical. I’m certainly all for more good F/F content being produced. 🙂
Regarding your question about Melody: I had no idea she would be in the movie until I saw it. Even the Director was supposed to be just a voice from off screen. And I would not have dared to write such a small part for a female talent because I would have expected higher costs for that. But somehow Anthony put her in with the budget we had agreed on. So seeing Melody and Allen on screen was a fun surprise for me.
Holy shit. This is an insanely impressive release. First off, it LOOKS better than most SHIP videos I’ve seen as of late. Super cinematic lighting and directing, top notch psycho-sexual peril, and good god Hera can ACT. She absolutely nails the dwindling confidence of a heroine in over her head and has real chemistry with Harper (who absolutely looks the part of a badass villainess).
I’ve felt like the ambition of the genre has fallen off as of late but this release absolutely restores confidence. Bravo to Dark City Fiction and bring on more heroine content starring Hera. She has awesome chops and is just stunning on screen.
I think this movie was absolutely incredible!
It didn’t even have all the elements I’m looking, but I was still amazed. At Both actresses acting, but especially amazed by Hera. I have only known her as a villainess, but MY GOODNESS does she play the helpless little heroine great in this one.
SPOILER:
The way she yields, the way she is not aware of the peril and humiliation she is about to receive, and then the switch in her behaviour once she understands she might die if she doesn’t do what is asked of her.
Amazing movie, 9/10
I would also looove to see a sequel. Shootout to the customer who wrote this script. I am doing this frequently myself, but I think the idea of this “Superheroine Academy” is so simple yet so good, it leaves the door open for so much more, I immediately had like three new ideas for sequels.
But maybe that is part of the magic, the trick might not work again and again and again.
Another fantastic release from DCF, I don’t think they had a mediocre movie since they launched, incredible consistency and quality in all their films
What are your sequel ideas?
send me a mail if you want, I don’t want to spam the comments section here.
My name is my email adress
why not, spam, we wanna know
OK, so my first idea was a training session with a new recruite and Crimson, where Crimson goes way beyond what is normal until we release it is not Crimson, but a villain with shape-shifting abilities (and we see the real Crimson defeated/tied up somewhere else).
Second idea was a “traditional” sequel” where Crimson goes on to avenge her fallen protigé Silver Fox, only to be defeated and equally destroyed by Jinx as SF was.
Lastly, a little more “fleshed out”, a film about two new recruits at the Academy, one “from the streets” and one a daughter of a welathy family, forced to share a room in the dormitory and quickly developing a rivalry. They have to fight against each other in another final exam but this time, things are different.
These are my early ideas, I’d love to know what the original customer of the film had in mind for a potential sequel and if he is open to collaborate on such a project
First things first: I am happy that you like the film so much that you “want more” in form of a sequel.
As of now, I have not planned to write and request such a sequel myself. I have several ideas for new original films which I would pursue first and which I’m already working on. Hopefully, at least one of those will someday get produced.
So I don’t have the capacity to take on something else right now. Also, if I’m honest, I am very sceptical about collaborating on scripts, especially with strangers. I hope that does not offend you. I know you are pushing this idea with the crowd funding, and I hope that works out for you and others, I just don’t think it’s the path for me. Maybe I just like writing too much and don’t want to share that with others…
I am also sceptical about sequels. There have been some good or even great ones, but movie history certainly is full of examples of sequels that should not have been made. In the worst case a bad sequel can even damage the original movie (e.g. think of “The Matrix”).
However, I am not fundamentally opposed to a sequel to “Final Exam”, if there is a good idea for one. Let’s look at the three you have put forth!
1. Crimson fighting Jinx would, as you have pointed out yourself, be the most obvious sequel. The danger of rather boring repetition would be the biggest in this case. Sure, it would be a different kind of battle, because Crimson – in contrast to Silver Fox – already is a seasoned warrior. And she has defeated Jinx before. That could be the basis for an interesting second part if it is done the right way.
But I don’t like this very conventional concept for another more important reason: It would destroy the ambiguity I was going for in this film. I think it’s sometimes more exciting if not everything is spelled out and there is some room for interpretation and for doubt. What is the deal with the Academy and its collaboration with Jinx? Is Crimson a killer, as Jinx says, who enjoys seeing her protégé being violated by the villainess? Or is she a good-hearted heroine, as Lily believes, who might try to avenge her? Both is possible when you watch “Final Exam”. But your suggested sequel would decide for the second alternative (which, by the way, would be off the table if Anthony hadn’t reedited one scene because I wanted said ambiguity).
2. One early idea I was playing with when I worked on this story actually was a training session getting out of hand. When Jinx says “Have you never thought about would a villain might do to you if you got overpowered?”, that is a piece of dialogue I kept from this alternate scenario. I never thought of a shape-shifting villain though but rather imagined that the mentor / trainer actually would be the one crossing the line. This again reflects the doubts about the Academy’s nature mentioned above. “Final Exam” might very well take place in the same universe as “Guardians of Justice” (which Lucia produced for me), i.e. in a world there at least not all “heroes” can be trusted.
I can see your idea work, too, though. And I like that it would rather be a spin-off than a sequel.
3. The rivalry between students of the Academy leading to a violent clash is indeed another idea I was playing with before I decided to go for the scenario of “Final Exam”. This has the biggest potential for an exciting movie in my opinion. It would again rather be a spin-off than a sequel, and one that fits the ambiguous character of the Academy.
So, if you want to pursue one of these ideas yourself, the third one would be my favorite.
thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive answer, very much appreciated
I loved this film, it had everything I like. The delightful heroine, super sexy, innocent, even unaware of the risk she is taking. Overconfident in her training, certain of her strength, and a very vicious villain, brutal and contemptuous of this innocent little girl. She dominates the little heroine in her super sexy costume, which excites her and which she uses as a sex toy once she has been subjugated and humiliated in front of her mentor. Great script, very exciting, keep up the good work, I love it!
The ending seemed kinda open for a sequel the way Crimson was watching in the shadows and walked off in the end. As if she wants to be the one to put a stop to Jinx for good. Is that what you guys are intending? I hope so, this was really good and I’d love for a part 2. Harper killed it!
I’m not sure but I think that would be awesome. I would really love to put Melody in a lead role. I think she’s great
Is there a reason why the O movie wasn’t put on this site? Just out of curiosity.
She requested for it not to be
Will there more films with her in the future?
no she (Ophelia) has retired
Heroine tied up with her own uniform? insant buy
When I saw this in my email and I saw who was in it, it was an instant purchase. This is my first purchase from DCF and it left a strong impression. I remember seeing Harper in a video a year or two ago and immediately wanted to see more female on female content from her and he we are and she truly delivered being dominant and badass. Hera was excellent as well and the camerawork and dialogue elevated their performances. I’m going to get how to Punish a superheroine in the next few days based on how much I loved this. 5/5
thank you! though i will warn you that Punish is a completely different type of film. there not much combat at all and it is mostly about verbal humiliation and torture.
But Rainey plays a domme wonderfully in the film
Thanks for the point but I saw the preview and definitely thought it was very interesting and obviously different from this one. The production quality is the main factor why I want it more than looking for similar scenario content.
“NO debooting” you didn’t have to yell at me :’(
🤬🥾
You had me at Female on Female combat, I’m buying lol.
It’s funny how we go this long without a F/F flick and then 2 productions drop in the same day, must be Christmas!
Combat was actually well done imo
I stand by it too. FInally F/F and a really good one
p.s. what other production are you referring to which dropped a F/F?
Alex Bettinger dropped 3 new vids including the next in the Power Guardian series. I imagine the post will be up here soon
