Cash Grab Surprise Box, 4K Killa, Updates
National Bittersweet Chocolate Day Surprise Box

Did you know today is National Bittersweet Chocolate Day? And to celebrate we are doing another Surprise Box (cough cough, cash grab) to celebrate this National Holiday with all of you. As always, it’s $10 USD and comes with significantly more items than its own value. And like last time, if a generous amount of you buy it – there will be a bonus when the product is pulled from availability. Like the two previous Surprise Boxes from last month – this one also contains a film that hasn’t been available for purchase in quite some time. So, get it while you can.

Future Surprise Boxes
Last months Surprise Boxes… well… surprised me. There are a few of you would crawled out of the woodwork to come and buy them, people I had long thought disappeared from the genre, so it has me wondering about the reasons why they seem to be a hit. If you could email me, or comment on this post – if you haven’t purchased films from me in awhile but bought both Surprise Boxes is that because you were lured by the mystery? Or is rather anything $25+ simply prices you out of the market of purchasing other films? Cause I would like to bring people back into the fold one way or another
Obviously, I can’t keep this up forever without eventually just releasing my whole catalog for a gutted price. So it has me thinking about adding additional hours to future shoots simply to make exclusive Surprise Box content. Things that are limited edition, short and sweet, and intentionally made to be able to fit into a $10 Holiday Box.
IMO I think it might be in my best interest to integrate the Surprise Box offers into a more regular offering. The majority of the feedback was positive and I rather try to get more eyes on films rather than focus all my attention on getting less eyes on more expensive product. Please don’t take that to mean there will be a reduction in big, expensive, content. Simply that the Surprise Box success last month is what I was hoping LoFi to be when I made it, but never quite was. Something accessible, cheap and intended for mass consumption.
4K Killa – The Abbie Maley Collection

As some of you may remember some months back – I need back some server space and item management in my back catalogue. So I am retiring the availability of the 4K editions on some of my older films that no longer have much movement in terms of units sold per year. In retiring said 4K copies – I offer a limited sale to help the product have its last run before getting the chopping block. This time around it’s my three film collection I made with Abbie Maley. Each title has been price reduced to $15 USD.

Five days left for the January Surprise Box. For those of you who don’t like surprises – it contains the following: Uninvited 4, Missy Rhodes – Beatdown, Batgirl After Hours, LoFi Lane 03 (Customer Edition)
Well I’m fairly new to the Genre, my Main interest is 2D/3D Art(In fact I came to SHL sometimes 202X through Leadpoison art)
Since my Budget isn’t what is used to be and my tastes are rather specific I can get easy “Buyer’s remorse”.
For me the forced and hardcore parts and that they are sold well are the most important. And well at 60$ when the forced sex is not as well sold as I like (Especially by the Girls, sorry Girls) It’s kinda a dud, no matter how good the rest is
(Hence why I was willing to Preorder the Dakota Moon one and got the TKJ. I generally always love Ashley Lanes and Dakotas Performances.)
But the Gist is I’m more willing to take a “risk” at 10$ than 60+.(It’s really the same with 60+ Computer games or anything).
So I just try to be absolutely sure I like it before I buy at that price. If I get money to throw around again that might change
That being said the boxes in that rapid succession will probably wear itself out too, probably wouldn’t buy them that often.
As someone who is pretty much only interested in hardcore SHIP content and BTS content, I have two motivations for purchasing the bonus boxes.
First, I don’t mind chipping in $10, which I’m hopeful will go toward the production of future hardcore content.
Second, I’m hoping to see BTS videos and/or photos.
Since I already own all of the SHL/SHX hardcore titles which have ever been released, and since I don’t have any interest in the softcore and PG-13 films, none of the actual films which have been included in the boxes have added anything to my collection. However, the BTS photos and videos have been nice additions, so I’ve felt that the purchases were justified.
oh man I can’t wait for that Dakota movie
It’s mid-January, and I don’t think it will have a positive effect if two works by the same actor are released in quick succession.
No idea what actor or movie you’re referring to but it sounds like you’re advocating for something to be delayed and come out later. Everyone always loves that.
From the perspective of creators, maximizing profits is the best outcome, which will give them more motivation. If you still want high-quality works, you have to be more patient
Imagine how motivated everyone would be if you’d gotten here sooner to dispense this wisdom.
Just like video editing, this thing is actually more complex than many people imagine. It’s not just about piecing together the captured footage. No one wants a work that costs a lot to ruin the editing effect
I don’t tell other producers what they can release, or when they can release it
Hope that helps
I hope to see a movie with the theme of “The United Super Villains” in the future. The female lead has an overwhelming advantage in one-on-one battles, but as the super villains join the fight one by one, she goes from having an overwhelming advantage to being evenly matched and finally to losing.
A good plot.
Sounds expensive
I just bought the 3rd box, downloading the goodies now! Why? To support your work and get a surprise, of course!
What was great about your boxes was the photos. I tend to use your Alina preview pictures as desktop or phone wallpaper and some of the Ashley Lane pictures are stunning and work great. My suggestion would be to capture more images specifically for that purpose, You could offer really nice galleries as perks. You do such wonderful work on the costumes and scenery and we only see it for a small period of time.
The posed pictures with Harley & Joker really stood out. With AI you could make the Will Pounder ‘Joker’ or Alina ‘Wonder Woman’ action figures, like the ones you see in memes on IG & TikTok. One of the things going now is adult stars doing IG reels to promote their brands, you already have them on set and suited up, take advantage of the social media opportunities.
If you do another surprise box, I would love one focused on the unmasking moments in your films, any BTS of that or ripping the costumes so you could get the right shot you wanted.
BB-
I am personally against running images of real people I work with through AI anything.
I actually do take a lot of pictures on set, I have more of them. I just never have released them. Back in the day I tried to sell a digital photo set and it wasn’t popular. And then I tried selling some signed polaroids and it also wasn’t popular. But I still take pictures, for myself, behind the scenes. I think giving them out as a bonus makes more sense than charging people for it.
I’m one of the people that came out of the woodwork to buy the holiday boxes. I purchased films in the past because they had McKenzie/Alina and costume destruction. I prefer the use of dildos and monster or costumed enemies as opposed to naked dudes. Hence, black canary and the two spider girl videos being my favorites. $60 is a lot for a film I’m not confident I’ll like, so I admit I’m a bit picky in that regard. This isn’t me saying all films should align with my tastes, I just wanted to offer the perspective. The $10 boxes offered a chance of getting some bts stuff from those films, but at the same time, if I didn’t it’s not a huge deal. I’ll probably continue to buy the surprise boxes at that price, this new one included and definitely keep my eye on the Dakota film. Hopefully this helps and I’m happy to answer any questions that help your business.
Super excited for Dakota Moons Spectra!! Loving the preview images, and cannot wait for the trailer and it to release!
I did also pick up this surprise box and again, like the last two I was pleasantly surprised with the content inside and with the amount & value for the price.
I bought all three boxes. I didn’t have a computer until now so these were my first buys. A great little sampling, well worth the price! Thanks for doing this. I will say I’m really bad about checking my personal email, and I missed the part about the bonus content from the other two, it was only from reading this one did I see it. I was 5 days away from losing it. 😬
I wasn’t into SHIP when Mckenzie did her 2 films for you, I was wondering if i could buy the behind the scenes/interview from those 2 scenes at all?
I started purchasing your films a little over a year ago because I was finally financially able to. Even now though, like you said, over a certain price and I have to want it to buy it. I absolutely love all of your batgirl films, anything Alina (especially spider girl), and absolutely LOVED Zatanna which in my opinion was your best work! Im also a big fan of Hardcore films so the LOFIs i usually pass on. But these surprise boxes have been amazing. Ive been buying them for multiple reasons. One to catch up on some of your older films that i wasnt able to afford at the time, two to get some of those extras like images never been released before, and three in hopes you’d make enough money to feel comfortable go take a shot on making that catwoman film with Alina (shot in the dark but wishful thinking lol). Anyway thats my take. I appreciate it and thank you for all of it
Same. I only want the hardcore stuff, not the LOFIs. Zatanna was definitely one of his best, along with The Prison.
The prison was a really close second for me! I love that one too. But damn that zatanna was GOOD.
I can’t speak for everyone but I think the exclusivity along with the price is why these bundles are so popular. I know you can’t afford to keep pumping out older flicks at a ridiculously cheap price. So when one of these surprise boxes come out, we feel the need to act fast or forever hold our peace. Plus I’d wager many of us have played games with gacha/lootbox systems and may or may not have a slight gambling issue 😅
I think the reason is works as well as it does requires both the price and the mystery.
The price makes it a low barrier to entry. A good “why not?” purchase. But then if we look at the two mystery boxes you released and take the mystery away, I would have probably only bought 1 of them. The reason I would have not bought one of them is because it was half movies I already own, and the other half were movies I wasn’t super interested in. So even though it was a low price, I would have still thought “meh. Don’t need it.”
But here’s the thing with that. I didn’t know what it was going to be so I didn’t decide it wasn’t worth the $10. So I got the movies I wasn’t interested in anyway. One of them, I think I was right about. It wasn’t for me for the reasons I expected. The other, I found myself surprised by. I would have never chosen to buy it but if I do have it, I’m certainly going to check it out. And in checking it out, I got an unexpected winner. And even if it didn’t work out that way, $10 isn’t a killer.
That said, I’ve been around this space for probably 20 years now. I have a lot of the movies. I’m probably positioned to get less of this than a lot of people since my odds for dupes are pretty good. For people new to the genre or just starting to explore, I think it’s perfect. Sampler packs. Try out some new things. Maybe people who were drawn here by a single specific kink will find something new they didn’t know they liked. And getting new people invested in the genre seems like a good thing!
I like them.
I do think it plays on a couple components that make it functional and I’m trying my best to find the right selections to make sure something per box hits for as many people as possible. I think the unavailable films help ensure that at the very least most people wouldn’t have them.
I dunno. It gives me some ideas though on how to approach this in a new direction in the future. Imagine Surprise Boxes where you definitely have never seen all the content before. I can even begin filming next month for pre planned Christmas 2026 themed content. Make these things more interesting and exciting
I haven’t bought films in a very long time but I personally love a surprise box and for the price it was 100% worth the mystery.
Did you not buy films cause they didn’t interest you, or because they were too expensive?
They didn’t interest me.
